PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To customize a distance which is subjected to a warning to be issued by a warning means for each driver and/or scene in a driving support device. SOLUTION: The central part and right and left corner parts of a front side bumper 5 of a vehicle 1 and the central part and right and left corner parts of a rear side bumper 7 of the vehicle 1 are respectively mounted with distance sensors 6 and 8. During the traveling of the vehicle 1, distances to an obstacle measured by the distance sensors 6 and 8 are compared with predetermined first and second thresholds, and a warning is issued to a driver based on the comparison result. Then, any factor (for example, weather or night driving) disturbing a normal driving exists in the driver, the driving is supported by the customized driving support mode.
