PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam-water separator surely making liquid flowing on the lower part of an inlet flow into a liquid path with a simple structure. SOLUTION: A double, roughly cylindrical partitioning member 10 is arranged inside casings 1, 2, 6. Swirl vanes 12 are arranged between an inner cylinder 10a and an outer cylinder 10b of the partitioning wall 10. The upper part of the swirl vane 12 is connected to an inlet 4, and the upper part is connected to an outlet 5 via an exhaust hole 11 inside an inner cylinder 10a of the partitioning member 10. A liquid sump chamber 15 is formed under the partitioning member 10 and the lower end of the liquid sump chamber 15 is connected to a liquid discharge port 8. A liquid passing space 13 serving as a liquid path is formed between the outside of an outer cylinder 10b of the partitioning member 10 and the inside of the casings 1, 2. The upper part of the liquid passing space 13 is connected to the inlet 4. A protrusion 10c protruded above a lower end of the inlet 4 is formed at an upper end of the outer cylinder 10b of the partitioning member 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
