POLYETHYLENE-BASED RESIN COMPOSITION AND MOLDED ITEM THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene-based resin composition having good extrusion processability, improved flexibility, and specifically, excellent durable stability, and a molded item thereof. SOLUTION: The polyethylene-based resin composition includes 95-5 mass% of a linear polyethylene (A) satisfying the following requirements (a-1) to (a-4) and 5-95 mass% of a branched high-pressure process low-density polyethylene (B) satisfying the following requirements (b-1) to (b-2). The polyethylene-based resin composition also satisfies the following formula: (a tensile elongation of the molded item of the polyethylene-based resin composition)≥[(a tensile elongation of a molded item of the linear polyethylene (A))×x/100+(a tensile elongation of a molded item of the branched high-pressure process low-density polyethylene (B))×(100-x)]×90/100, wherein x is 95 to 5 and represents a composition amount of the linear polyethylene (A). (a-1): It is an ethylene homopolymer or a copolymer comprising ethylene and a 3-20Cα-olefin. (a-2): The density is 925 to 975 kg/m3. (a-3): The melt flow rate at 190°C and under a load of 2.16 kg is 0.1 to 50 g/10 min. (a-4): Mw/Mn measured by gel permeation chromatography is 3 to 7 (Mn is a number-average molecular weight, Mw is a weight-average molecular weight, and Mw/Mn is a molecular weight distribution).
