<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect the position of each touch point, even when a touch panel includes a plurality of touch points. <P>SOLUTION: The touch panel sequentially outputs a scanning voltage to be output to a Y-axis guide line, and detects whether an X-axis guide line has received the scanning voltage in each scanning period. Accordingly, when the q-th piece of the X-axis guide line receives the scanning voltage in the p-th piece scanning period, the touch point position can be detected accurately, to prevent faulty decision from occurring.
