A method and a system for call processing, a Service Control Point (SCP) and an exchange equipment are disclosed by the embodiments of the invention. The method includes: receiving the IDP message sent by the exchange equipment when call connection fails; obtaining the call information of the call included in the IDP message; and triggering the corresponding intelligent network service(s) according to the call information and the service logic(s) of the intelligent network service(s) subscribed to by the calling terminal and/or the called terminal of the call. By applying the technical solutions proposed by the embodiments of the invention, to trigger intelligent network services for calls which fail in connecting, and to control the service logics of subsequent calls through an intelligent network, the effect of saving intelligent network resources and reducing call path detours is achieved.
