PURPOSE: An infrared sensor is provided to enhance waterproof property and reduce the manufacturing cost by constructing a dual case. CONSTITUTION: An infrared sensor comprises an outer case, an inner case, and a circuit board. A space is provided for the outer case and an opening is provided in the longitudinal direction of the outer case. The inner case is inserted into the outer case. The circuit board is accommodated in the inner case and comprises a light-emitting part(1) or a light-receiving part(3). The outer case consists of the aluminium material. The inner case comprises a main body and a light-transmitting part. The main body is arranged in the outer case. The light-transmitting part is arranged at the main body in the longitudinal direction and is integrally molded with the main body.
