PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a higher forgery preventing effect and to reduce restrictions on design in using a display body given a forgery preventing technology. SOLUTION: A display section of this display body includes an interface part including first to n-th element regions respectively including diffraction grating structures of different grating spacing and grating directions and forming clearances, and an (n+1) element region filling at least a part of the clearances. The first to n-th element regions are arranged to form a specific pattern. When the display section is illuminated with white light from a specific direction, diffracted light of each wavelength is emitted in each specific direction in the first to n-th element regions, and scattered light is emitted in the (n+1) element region. Consequently, a pattern image is seen when observing from the specific direction while looking white like ordinary paper or the like when observing from the front. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
