<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet post-processing apparatus allowing manual stapling of a paper sheet by pulling out a stapler from a finisher. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The apparatus is equipped with: a tray for supporting the paper sheet, a casing for supporting the tray; a stapler for stapling the paper sheet supported by the tray in a paper sheet insertion opening extending in a direction along the paper sheet in the casing; a driving mechanism for moving the stapler to a direction orthogonal to a conveying direction of the paper sheet and moving the stapler to the outside of the casing; and a rotating mechanism for rotating the stapler such that the paper sheet insertion opening of the stapler faces an upper side from the direction along the paper sheet when the stapler is removed to the outside of the casing.
