PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent contact with components in an engine compartment by deforming a side member toward the outer side of a vehicle under a load input in the axial direction of the side member from the vehicle front. SOLUTION: A body front structure has at a side member 1 a slope part 3 which deforms the side member 1 toward the vehicle outside OUT under a load F input to a side member tip part 1A from the vehicle front FR toward the vehicle rear RR, and which is formed in such a manner as to be sloped obliquely backward from the vehicle outside OUT toward the vehicle inside in a plan view. The slope part 3 is a section area enlarged part formed such that a longitudinal section area when the side member 1 is cut in a body-width direction is enlarged from the vehicle front FR toward the vehicle rear RR.
