<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have preferable state of film thickness distribution of a coating film by reducing friction between a squeegee and an emulsion in a screen printing method and thereby reducing occurrence of defect like knocking, to provide thereby a panel of excellent display quality by manufacturing a panel constituent component of homogeneous dimension, and to provide a low-cost panel by manufacturing panels of a homogeneous dimension even in a multiple printing method with excellent cost merit. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The plasma display panel having uniform display quality by the use of the multiple printing method with excellent mass-productivity can be provided at a low cost, by reducing a contact area between the squeegee 16 and the emulsion 15 by providing an assistant runner irregularities 21 to an assistant runner 18 in a squeegee running range 20 of the screen printing apparatus, thereby reducing occurrence of a defect like knocking, and reducing variation in film thicknesses of the coating films.
