PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mattress which is formed by laminating a plurality of mat layers, particularly relating to the upper half body side of the laminated mat layers, which is prevented from being slipped toward the foot side and simultaneously allows the upper half side of the mattress to smoothly slip upward upon lifting up the back part of a bed by a simple structure. SOLUTION: The mattress 10 is applicable to a bed whose back part can be lifted up. The mattress 10 includes a first mat layer 11 and a second mat layer 12 laminated on the first mat layer 11. A first slip member 17 is disposed between the first and second mat layers 11 and 12 and in the upper half body side when viewed from the longitudinal direction of the first and second mat layers 11 and 12.
