The folding unit (10) has multiple folding funnels (11,12,13), which are positioned in parallel manner, and have small funnel width. The folding funnels are moved independently to each other along a funnel inclination of the folding formers such that the funnel projections (15,16,17) of the folding funnels are arbitrary aligned to each other. An independent claim is included for the following: (1) a method for operating web-fed printing press with a folding unit; and (2) a printed product with multiple books.
