PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inductance capable of preventing contact between a core and a resin mold in charging the resin mold. SOLUTION: An inductor includes a case, an almost cylindrical winding housed in a cavity part in the case and a columnar core housed in a cylinder of the winding. In the cavity part in the case, a cylindrical part partitioning a first region in which the core is disposed from a second region in which the core is disposed is formed and one end of the cylindrical part is joined to the inner peripheral surface of the case with no gap over the entire periphery thereby to solve the problem.
