PURPOSE: A switch driving circuit and an operating method thereof are provided to prevent a turnoff or breakdown of a switching device due to great vibration widths of a gate signal voltage. CONSTITUTION: A driver(220) generates a normal gate signal for controlling the switching operation of a switch. A gate signal compensating circuit(210) compares a normal gate signal with a gate signal applied to a gate electrode of the switch, and compensates a gate signal according to the comparison results.
