<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording sheet having excellent image reproducibility and high surface glossiness, and being excellent in surface scratch resistance, high productivity, and recyclability. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the inkjet recording sheet includes: a process in which a recording layer adjacent to the most surface layer is made into a glossy ink receiving layer by that a coating film obtained by applying a coating liquid containing slurry in which an ultrafine pigment is wet-mill processed with a high pressure jet impact pulverizer and a binder as major ingredients, is press-fixed to a mirror surface in a wet condition and dried; and a process in which the recording layer of the most surface layer is made into a gloss protection layer by that a coating liquid containing spherical colloidal silica as the ultrafine pigment and a binder as major ingredients and containing the binder by a mass ratio of 1:0.02 to 1:1 to the spherical colloidal silica is applied so that an amount of dry coating may be 0.02-0.3 g/m<SP>2</SP>, the obtained coating film is press-fixed to the mirror surface in a wet condition, and dried. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
