SOLUTION: The communication apparatus for estimating a precoding matrix according to the channel state of a received signal and feeding back the estimated value to another communication apparatus includes: a determination means 32 for selecting N (M>N) subbands from a plurality of M subbands generated by dividing a receiving band by a predetermined number on the basis of a predetermined reference; and an effective SNR estimation part 33 for estimating a precoding matrix on the basis of the N subbands.
