<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buckle device to be mounted with a tongue provided on a vehicle occupant constraining belt, for actualizing the storage of a buckle at a lower position. <P>SOLUTION: When a seat is changed from a normal condition into a stored condition, the buckle device 10 cancels the thrust of one side portion 40A of a supporting plate 40 by a seat thrusting column 26 so that the other side portion 40B of the supporting plate 40 is turned and upset on the upper face of a floor 18. With a supporting frame 42 of the supporting plate 40 moved close to a position of connecting a webbing 38 to an anchor 28, it thus cancels the support of the buckle 30 by the supporting plate 40 so that the buckle 30 is upset on the upper face of the floor 18 and stored. Hence, it inhibits the upset of the buckle 30 from being restricted by the supporting plate 40 to lower the storage position of the buckle 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
