<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an engine room shield structure preventing or suppressing intrusion of rain water, foreign matter and the like to an engine room with a hood lifted up. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A shield member 50 folded in a bellows shape is attached to a flat plate 16 set on a front end side of a cowl louver 14, and is deployed between the flat plate 16 and a rear end side of the hood 30 when an actuator 22 is activated and the hood 30 is lifted up. Inside and outside of the engine room 36 are separated along the longitudinal direction of a vehicle 10 by the shield member 50 thus deployed, and intrusion of rain water and foreign matter to the engine room 36 from the rear side of the hood 30 can be prevented or suppressed.
