PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gap closing member with a novel structure, pliantly accommodating itself to gap differences, being inexpensively structured with the minimum number of parts, easy to install or remove, and not damaging the appearance of panels and a structure for fixing it. SOLUTION: For blocking a gapδgenerated between edges 2a and 2a of two desktop panels 2 and 2, inserting a body 51 into the gapδ, while elastically deforming the body 51, retains the body 51 on the edges 2a and 2a of the panels 2 and 2 through elastically restoring force of itself.
