PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric root type pump capable of improving the heat radiating performance of an electric motor by efficiently radiating the heat of a driving rotor. SOLUTION: In a driven rotor 28, an end surface coating film 40a and a side surface coating film 40b are provided in the whole surface of a pair of end surfaces 28c and 28f, which face an inner surface 131b of an end wall 13b and an end surface 14a of a second housing 14, and a side surface. In the driving rotor 27, an end surface coating film 41a is provided in a pair of end surfaces 27c and 27f, which face the inner surface 131b of the end wall 13b and the end surface 14a of the second housing 14. In a side surface of the driving rotor 27, a top end coating film 41b is provided in a top end 27g of a crest tooth 27a.
