PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handcart easy to use by taking advantage of double handles in a double handle type handcart, and ensuring an braking operation. SOLUTION: Handle frames 1 and 1' consisting of: gripping rods 1a and 1'a; and one pair each of leg rods 1b and 1b, and 1'b and 1'b, oppositely placed on both sides of the gripping rods 1a and 1'a, are erected on both opposite sides of a loading platform 2 received by one pair each of casters 3 and 3, and 3' and 3' arranged on both sides. Either one or both of the pair of casters 3 and 3 on one side, and the pair of casters 3' and 3' on the other side are provided with caster braking means 4 and 4'. Handles 11 and 11' releasing a caster braking condition by the braking means 4 and 4' are arranged near the gripping rods 1a and 1'a where the braking means 4 and 4' can be gripped together with the gripping rods 1a and 1'a of the handle frames 1 and 1', against a spring force.
