PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a white organic EL element which has high efficiency and long life. SOLUTION: The white organic electroluminescence element has a light emission wavelength of≥580 nm and contains a light emitting dopant having a partial structure represented by general formula (1). In the formula, M is a group 8-10 transition metal element, R1and R2are each a hydrogen atom or a substituent, R3is an aromatic hydrocarbon ring group or aromatic heterocyclic group, and Z1 is a residue needed to form the aromatic hydrocarbon ring group or aromatic heterocyclic group with a carbon atom and Z1 may have a substituent.
