<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor optimized in transfer of image data from a transmission side to a reception side, to provide an image processing method, to provide an image processing program, and to provide a recording medium. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A digital complex device 1 rapidly transfers line image data from serializers 1100C-1100K of an image processing controller board 1000 to LD controllers 1210C-1210K of LD boards 1200C-1200K through an SATA cable 1300. The serializers 1100C-1100K transmit the line image data by providing the head and the rear end of the line image data with a START symbol and an END symbol, respectively, the LD controllers 1210C-1210K determine validity/invalidity of the line image data based on the START symbol and the END symbol, and generate supplemental line image data for supplementing invalid line image data from circumferential line image data when the line image data are determined to be invalid.
