<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging apparatus that can suppress a mixed color signal and effectively reduces a pixel size, a method of manufacturing the solid-state imaging apparatus, and an electronic apparatus using the solid-state imaging apparatus. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the solid-state imaging apparatus 1 having a pixel region 3 wherein a plurality of pixels 7 each comprising a light receiving sensor portion 4 are arrayed on a substrate and a sensor separation portion 9 comprising a plurality of stages of sensor separation layers 11 formed between adjacent light receiving sensor portions 4 in the depth direction of the substrate, the sensor separation portion 9 is formed such that formation positions of the respective sensor separation layers 11 are made different at the center part of the pixel region 3 and the peripheral part of the pixel region 3 according to the traveling direction of light L made incident on the substrate.
