The jalousie has a jalousie blade (2) rotatably supported such that the blade is moved from an opened position of the jalousie to closed position of the jalousie. The blade comprises bilaterally opened hollow spaces through which air flows in the opened position where the hollow spaces extend parallel to each other through the jalousie blade. The hollow spaces are separated from each other by rods. The rods extend through the blade. The blade possesses a thickness (d) greater than 1 to 2 cm, and is designed as a heat insulation unit.
