MANUFACTURING METHOD OF POLYSILICONE USING SILICA RECOVERED FROM SLAG

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of poly-silicon using silica collected from slag is provided to collect the silica with the purity over 99% by simply acid processing the slag after pulverizing. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of poly-silicon using silica collected from slag comprises the following steps; collecting the silica from the slag generated from the steelmaking process; and forming metal silicon by reducing the silica. The slag is either blast furnace slag or nickel slag. The collecting process of the silica is performed by mixing the slag with an acid solution, reacting and filtering. The acid solution is a 60% nitric acid solution.
