FIELD: information technologies. ^ SUBSTANCE: receiver of television signals is proposed for reception and storage of television signals coded with alternate speed of data transfer. Information on time is produced on the basis of time required for reception of signals that determine duration of television signals, when they come out in an open form practically with constant speed of data transfer. Received signals are then recorded into file on hard disk in order of reception together with information on time. Information on time of signals stored in file is verified, and old signals are removed from file, so that the file stores signals that correspond to previously specified period of time. ^ EFFECT: improvement of recording. ^ 36 cl, 11 dwg
