FIELD: transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railroad transport, particularly to locomotive design. Locomotive comprises frame with engines mounted thereon and having their shafts running in bearings. Disks are fitted on axles between said bearings that engage with friction plates arranged vertically and lengthwise at track center and secured on sleepers. Frame load rails have ""-like truck frames fitted thereon and furnished with plates arranged at their lower part to thrust against axle box top parts. Axles with disks are driven by motors provided with drums fitted on axles to engage with disks axles with the help of ratchet mechanisms. Said drums accommodate flexible links with ends running in opposite directions and secured to pistons accommodated in cylinders arranged on lateral sides of the drums. Connecting tubes are arranged on top cylinders. Cylinders represent electromagnetic coils that house rids with flexible links secured thereon and arranged on drums which engage with disks axles. Brackets fixed on the frame accommodate axles running vertically in bearings and furnished with rolls arranged on axle ends to center locomotive between rails. ^ EFFECT: increased locomotive speeds and efficient braking. ^ 1 cl, 3 dwg |
