PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion guide which can form an electric field close to an ideal condition by suppressing disturbance in the ion guide, and to provide a mass spectroscope equipped with the same. SOLUTION: The ion guide has eight sheets of metal plates as an electrode 11A which extend in the ion optical axis C direction and of which end face is arranged so as to surround the ion optical axis C, and the end edge on the ion optical axis C side of the electrode 11A is made to be circular or hyperbolic convex toward the optical axis C in the surface orthogonal to the ion optical axis C. Thereby, an electric field close to an ideal condition is formed in an ion flight space surrounded by the end edges of the electrodes 11A. The electrode 11A may be one in which an electrode rod 112 having a prescribed cross-section shape is fixed by welding or the like to a metal plate 111 which has no end-face processing made.
