PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device determining a constant current control value to each process speed only by discharge current control to a predetermined process speed, and improving the productivity. SOLUTION: By the discharge current control, a voltage value V3 of alternating voltage for providing a predetermined discharge current and a current value I3 corresponding to the voltage value V3 of the alternating voltage are determined for the alternating voltage of a frequency corresponding to the process speed PS1, and the current value I3 is determined as the constant current control value for the process speed PS1. Sequentially, the alternating voltage whose voltage value is V5 is applied to a charging roller 2 at the frequency corresponding to the process speed PS2, and the current value I6 of the alternating voltage flowing in the charging roller 2 is determined as the constant current control value for the process speed PS2.
