PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rock bed fall predictor, installed on a rock bed and used for predicting a rock bed fall, dispensing with labor such as accurately installing it in a horizontal state when installing it, and being simple and unaffected by wind, rain, or the like. SOLUTION: This rock bed fall predictor 1 is made by filling a spherical casing 2 with liquid 5 and gas 6 not mixing with each other, mounting a compass 7 on the vertex of the spherical casing 2, and forming marks of longitudes/latitudes on the spherical casing 2. The fall predictor 1 is installed on the rock bed R to measure changes with time in the longitudes/latitudes of the liquid surface and in a direction shown by the compass.
