<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize simplification of the whole structure and improvement of workability while cleaning in a fluorescent lamp cleaning tool to clean a fluorescent lamp attached to an illumination fixture. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the fluorescent lamp cleaning tool A1 equipped with a head 2 which has a pair of opposing surrounding pieces 23 on the tip side, and is made switchable from a used state to surround the fluorescent lamp F to a non-used state detachable against the fluorescent lamp since these surrounding pieces 23 become close or apart, and a support body 1 to support the head 2, the head 2 is integrally formed to be elastically deformable by including the base part 21 leading to the pair of surrounding pieces 23 on the base end side, and the base part 21 is fitted to, inserted into, and supported by the tip part of the support body 1, and made movable along its axial line O1 to the support body 1. The pair of surrounding pieces 23 are contracted in the distance from each other, and becomes in the used state when the head 2 approaches the support body 1, and is expanded in the distance from each other to become in the non-used state when the head 2 is separated from the support body 1.
