<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array antenna device capable of controlling directivity in various directions. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An array antenna device includes a feeding element 1 having a feeding conductor part 1A constituted of an approximately linear conductor and parasitic elements 2 and 3 disposed around the feeding element 1. One end of the feeding element 1 is connected to the non-grounded port of a feeding point 4. The parasitic element 2 has a parallel part 2A constituted of an approximately linear conductor approximately parallel to the longitudinal direction of the feeding conductor part 1A and a variable reactance 2B whose one end is connected to the parallel part 2A and whose other end is grounded. The parasitic element 3 includes a parallel part 3A constituted of an approximately linear conductor approximately parallel to the longitudinal direction of the feeding conductor part 1A, a vertical part 3B whose one end is connected to the parallel part 3A and which is constituted of an approximately linear conductor approximately vertical to the longitudinal direction of the feeding conductor part 1A, and a variable reactance 3C whose one end is connected to the vertical part 3B and whose other end is grounded.
