The fuel supply system comprises an alcohol or gasoline fuel mixture which is stored in an injection rail (9) for cold starting of an internal-combustion engine (1). An injector (11) comprises an electrical heating device (13) for heating alcohol or gasoline fuel mixture, where the injector is provided as a pressure control valve. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a fuel supply system for operating an internal-combustion engine with alcohol or gasoline fuel mixture; and (2) a method for operating a fuel supply system.
