<p>An automatic transaction device is provided with an operation display section which displays a screen etc. guiding a customer's operation required to select a transaction and to transact and a data reading section which intakes a customer's transaction medium inserted from a medium insertion and ejection port and reads data from magnetic stripes provided to the transaction medium. The automatic transaction device performs control such that a projected length of the tip of the transaction medium from the port, in ejection of the transaction medium, is neither shorter than a length irreducibly minimum to allow the customer to pinch and pull out the transaction medium nor longer than the thickness of a skimming device to be mounted to the port.</p> |
