<p>It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for manufacturing a ball seat, which reduces frictional force acting between a ball stud and the ball seat to reduce a torque of a ball joint, and improves performance of the ball joint as a spheroid joint to enhance ride comfort and steering performance of a vehicle. To accomplish this, the method for manufacturing a ball seat having a spherical inner surface where a ball stud serving as a spheroid joint is mounted, said method comprising the steps of: a) allowing the machining part of a mold core, for forming the spherical inner surface of the ball seat, to have a plurality of dense dimples which are irregularly formed by an etching process caused through the reaction with a chemical solution; and b)forming the spherical inner surface of the ball seat by using the mold core having a surface with said irregular dimples.</p> |
