METHOD FOR UPDATING SERVICE GUIDE IN MOBILE BROADCAST SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for updating a service guide in a mobile broadcasting system is provided to transmit information which can determines whether a service guide is updated through a broadcasting channel, thereby enabling the mobile terminal to quickly determine whether the service guide is updated. CONSTITUTION: Guide information for updating a service guide is broadcast through a one-directional broadcasting channel(S210). A request for updating the service guide is received from a mobile terminal(S230). Update data requested to the mobile terminal is transmitted through a bi-directional channel(S240). The guide information includes version information of plural fragments which configure the service guide.
