<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver's seat air bag device mounting structure permitting removal of a driver's seat air bag device from a steering wheel without having a locking member pressed to an unlocked position by a worker. <P>SOLUTION: A snap lock mechanism includes: a hook part 14 provided on a reverse side of a retainer 13 of a driver's seat air bag device 10; a hook part insertion hole 24 provided in a base plate 20 on a steering wheel 1 side; and an arm 26 of a locking spring 25 arranged in such a manner as to cross the hook part insertion hole 24 and engaging with the hook part 14. To remove the driver's seat air bag device 10 from a steering wheel 1, the arm 26 is pressed toward the center of the steering wheel 1 to separate it from the hook part 14. When the arm 26 moves to the unlocked position, the arm 26 engages with a protrusion 28 provided in such a manner as to protrude from the reverse side of the base plate 20, so that the arm 26 is locked at the unlocked position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
