<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor having a thin bulkhead by fixing the relative position of a stator and a rotor with high accuracy, and a pumping apparatus. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The pumping apparatus 10 has a fixing shaft 45, a rotor 32 which is supported rotatably by the fixing shaft 45 and is integrated with an impeller 34, a stator 30 which is equipped with a stator core 36 on which a coil 37 is wound via an insulator 38, a board 31 which mounts the stator 30, and a housing 11 which holds the board 31 and the fixing shaft 45. The rotor 32 is arranged on the side opposite to the stator 30 across a bulkhead. The stator 30 is fixed to the board 31 with a coupling 42 formed in the insulator 38, thus the board 31 and the stator 30 are positioned accurately. As a result, the central axis L1 of the stator 30 is aligned with the axis of the fixing shaft 45, thereby achieving relative positioning of the stator 30 and the rotor 32 with high accuracy.
