<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CAD and design assistance association system for certainly preventing a designer from advancing an incomplete job that the designer intentionally or mistakenly considers as a completed one. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A design assisting system 10 assists a worker who carries out a design work on a three-dimensional CAD system 20 in accordance with the flow of design items constructed in advance or master data made on the CAD system 20. In addition, the design assisting system 10 includes a function to deliver data related to products on the design assisting system or shapes of components to the CAD system and also a function to feed back design changes to the design assisting system for different products to be made in the future when shapes and the like are changed for the current product by using the past data on the CAD system. Further, the CAD system is in association with the design assisting system 10 so that a job for checking whether a designer has worked properly on the CAD system 20 is automatically fed back to the design assisting system 10.
