Ž<P>SOLUTION: This microscope 100 includes: a laser light source 1 which emits the laser beam; a beam expander 2 which changes the beam diameter of the laser beam from the laser light source 1; an objective lens 13 which emits the laser beam 1 from the laser light source 1 onto the sample 14; a transmitted light detecting part 17 which detects the light having transmitted through the sample 14; an optical axis variation recognizing part 51 which recognizes the optical axis variation operations of the laser beam; and an optical axis adjusting part 3 which expands the beam diameter of the laser beam by the beam expander 2 when the optical axis variation recognizing part 51 recognizes the optical axis variation operations of the laser beam and which adjusts the optical axis of the laser beam based on the screen of the transmitted light detected by the transmitted light detecting part 17.
