<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of preventing breakage of an inorganic thin film even when a resin substrate is used. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The surface facing an inorganic material layer 18 of a first resin layer 16 includes a frame-shaped region 30 overlapping with a seal 28, an inside region 32 enclosed by the frame-shaped region 30 and an outside region 34 which is on the outer side of the inside region 32 and the frame-shaped region 30. The inorganic material layer 18 which constitutes at least a thin-film transistor, an electrode and a wiring continuously and integrally includes a first part 36 positioned on the inside region 32, a second part 38 positioned on the outside region 34 and a connecting part 40 positioned on a part of the frame-shaped region 30 and connecting the first and second parts 36 and 38 to each other. The connecting part 40 is so formed as not to be disposed on both of a pair of positions which are point symmetrical with respect to a central point P of the surface facing the inorganic material layer 18 of the first resin layer 16 as a center.
