TRANSMISSION POWER CONTROL METHOD IN FEMTO ACCESS POINT

PURPOSE: A transmission power control method in an indoor base station is provided to measure traffic quantity based on a data amount to control current transmission power, thereby reducing interference influencing other base stations. CONSTITUTION: An indoor base station measures a traffic amount based on a data amount stored in a transmission queue(401). The base station checks whether the measured traffic amount is within a threshold value range(402). If the measured traffic amount is larger than a minimum threshold value, the base station reduces current transmission power(403). If the measured traffic amount is larger than a maximum threshold value, the base station increases the current transmission power(404).
