<p>The invention relates to packaging and can be used for connecting packages containing solid, including granular, or liquid products to form a chain in such a way that individual packages can be separated from the chain. The fastener for connecting packages (1) to form a chain and for allowing the separation of individual packages from the chain comprises an outer, resilient, thin-walled element (2), open at the top and bottom, the walls of which are defined by the surfaces of revolution of concave curves and are provided with longitudinal slots (3), a ball-shaped inner element (4), the diameter of which is greater than the smallest inside diameter of the outer element (2), and a collar (5) in the form of a flexible strip, the ends of which are provided with elements that are designed to form a releasable connection comprising a removable fixing device. Furthermore, the outer elements (2) are attached by the top edge thereof to the lower surfaces (8) of the packages (1), and the inner elements (4) are attached by flexible links (9) to the upper surfaces (10) of the packages (1). The diameter of the collar (5) is less than the diameter of the inner element (4), and the removable fixing devices of the releasable connections of the collar are connected to the next but one packages (1) by means of flexible links (11). The collar (5) is connected to the package (1) by a flexible connection. The inner element (4) is provided with a conical protrusion which can be accommodated in a slot (3) in the outer element (2). The invention makes it possible to connect rigid as well as flexible packages (1) to form a chain and to reconnect a package that has been separated from the chain.</p> |
