An LED illuminator retrofittable into a conventional street light housing has a base plate sized and shaped for attachment to the housing. A first heat sink is mounted on the outward side of the base plate at a first roll angle and at a first pitch angle relative to the base plate. A second heat sink is mounted on the outward side of the base plate at a second roll angle and at a second pitch angle relative to the base plate. A first LED array is mounted on an outward side of the first heat sink. A second LED array is mounted on an outward side of the second heat sink. The base plate is sized and shaped for attachment to the street light housing, with the first LED array and the second LED array projecting downwardly and outwardly away from and outside the housing. |
