<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the warming-up time of a fuel cell conducting self-supporting warming up. <P>SOLUTION: In a fuel cell system, temperature of a fuel cell stack 26 is detected with a temperature sensor T1, if the temperature of the fuel cell stack 26 does not reach a normal power generating temperature region, a solenoid valve 552 is closed and a pump 56 is stopped, and during this state, injection of direct injection water from a nozzle 55 of an air manifold 54 is not performed. In a state that the direct injection water is not supplied, the warming-up of the fuel cell stack 26 is efficiently performed, the warming-up time is shortened, and at a point of time when the temperature of the fuel cell stack 26 reaches the normal power generating temperature region, supply of the direct injection water is started. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
