A bitumen composition (I) contains a major amount of bitumen(s) (II) and a minor amount of chemical additive(s) consisting of organic gelling agents (III) creating a network of hydrogen bonds between the (III) molecules, so that the (II) phase is immobilized up to a maximum temperature (T(R)) in the 40-120[deg] C range. An independent claim is included for the production of (I), by introducing (III) into (II) at 140-180[deg] C, (II) being in the form of bitumen alone, polymer-modified bitumen, an anhydrous binder, a coating, a surface covering or an intermediate in the production of the bitumen, binder or coating. |
