PURPOSE: A geothermal heat pump system is provided to control geothermal refrigerant which is heat-exchanged by refrigerant which passes through a geothermal heat exchanger, thereby improving heating and cooling efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A geothermal heat pump system comprises: a geothermal heat exchange unit(1) which comprises a geothermal heat loop(11) which circulates geothermal heat refrigerant, a geothermal heat exchanger(12) which exhausts warm air or cool air by heat-exchanging refrigerant which is flown in a coolant pipe(10), and a compressor(13) which compresses the refrigerant of the coolant pipe which passes through the geothermal heat exchanger; an indoor heat exchange unit(2) which includes an indoor heat exchanger(21); and a geothermal heat controller(3) which is installed in the middle of the geothermal heat loop and controls the pressure of the refrigerant which passes through the geothermal heat exchanger by controlling the temperature by controlling a pump(111) which circulates the geothermal heat refrigerant.
