Flooring system for a passenger vehicle, in particular for a railway vehicle

The flooring system has pre-finished sound-damping base plates (2) fastened to carriage bodies (1). The base plates are detachably fastened to profile rails (6), which are extended in a vehicle longitudinal direction and adhered with the carriage bodies at lower sides in a large-area by an adhesive e.g. single-component polyurethane adhesive. The profile rails include T-grooves (7) opened upwards. Edge regions (2a) of the base plates are fixedly screwed to supports (8) of the profile rails. Gaps between the edge regions and the profile rails are closed using elastic sealants (13).
