APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SELECTING ANTENNA USING INDICATION BIT AND MODULATION BASED ON OPEN LOOP

PURPOSE: An open loop antenna selecting apparatus using an Indication bit and modulation and a method thereof are provided to restore a transmission signal of a multi-antenna transmission device as it is by selecting a transmission antenna with good channel state through deciding whether a data bit about a receiving symbol satisfies the Indication bit. CONSTITUTION: An indication bit extractor(101) extracts an Indication bit for selection of a transmission antenna with a use of the bit. The bit is allocated in an input symbol. A modulation unit(103) modulates a remaining bit except for a lower bit among an allocated bit. A transmission antenna switching unit(105) creates a transmission antenna index through the lower bit and the Indication bit. The transmission antenna switching unit proceeds switching to the transmission antenna corresponding to the transmission antenna index.
